For discharge planners, care managers and dialysis units

The transport company that gets the paperwork right

Kelso Mobility is a wheelchair-accessible transportation service in Milton, opening shortly. This page is what we are building and where we are — honestly.

What we think matters to you

Receipts that clear the first time

Every trip produces an itemized receipt showing distance, wait time, any attendant and HST separately — written to attach to an ODSP Mandatory Special Necessities claim (form ON00646E) or go to an insurer or WSIB without a follow-up call.

Standing bookings that stay booked

Dialysis three times a week is set up once. Our scheduling physically cannot double-book a vehicle — the database refuses it — so a confirmed pickup is a committed vehicle, not an intention.

One invoice, not forty receipts

Facilities can be invoiced monthly against a purchase order, with every trip itemized on the statement, instead of collecting a receipt per ride.

Where we actually are

We are pre-launch, and would rather tell you that than have you find out. Here is the honest split.

In place today

  • Office secured in Milton
  • Online booking with the fare shown before you commit — no "call for pricing"
  • Itemized ODSP-ready receipting, built and tested
  • Monthly facility invoicing
  • Published privacy and accessibility policies
  • Never a higher fare for using a mobility aid, and no charge to handle one

Before the first passenger

  • Commercial insurance, with a certificate available to you on request
  • Town of Milton vehicle-for-hire licensing
  • Accessible vehicle with crash-tested four-point securement to CSA D409
  • Vulnerable Sector Check and current First Aid on every driver
  • WSIB coverage

We will not carry a passenger for you before every item on the right has moved to the left, and we will send you the certificates rather than ask you to take our word for it.

What we are asking for

Not a contract, and not an exclusive. Two things:

Hello, I run Kelso Mobility, a wheelchair-accessible transportation service starting up in Milton. I am not writing to sell you anything yet — we are pre-launch, and I would rather be straight about that. I am writing because your residents need rides to appointments, and I would like to build the service around what you actually need rather than guess. Two things I think matter, and would like to get right: Receipts. Every trip produces an itemized receipt showing distance, wait time and HST separately, written to attach to an ODSP Mandatory Special Necessities claim or go to an insurer without a follow-up call. Standing bookings. Recurring schedules — dialysis three times a week, for example — are set up once, and our system cannot double-book a vehicle. Before we carry anyone we will have commercial insurance, Town of Milton licensing, CSA-standard securement and screened drivers, and I will send you the certificates rather than ask you to take my word for it. Could I ask you two questions — what your current transport gets wrong, and what your paperwork actually needs to look like? Five minutes on the phone would help me enormously, and I will come back and show you the finished thing when we are licensed.
